Stick to Nirvana, literally.
Whenever you find yourself in a storm of thoughts and worries, or simply want to be more focused, just breathe. And at least for this mission, try not overcomplicating it even if you know some advanced breathing techniques. The power of this tool lies in its simplicity to be practiced anytime, anywhere.
Here are the 3 steps:
Breathe out slowly, preferably from the nose, to empty your lungs
Let your lungs refill with an inhale at a natural pace, no force
Repeat
You will feel a surreal presence in this moment, detached from anything that was holding you back. And it works from day one. Just do not have any expectations of some divine light showing up or all your worries disappearing suddenly. Instead, notice how your relationship with the worries and thoughts changes, as you become grateful for how little is needed to be well, and how everything else is just secondary.
Feeling angry? Breathe…
Impulsive? Breathe…
Worried? Breathe…
Bored? Breathe…
Sad? Breathe…
P.S.: Though Nirvana breathing is beneficial as it is, still feel free to enhance the experience by doing it in a silent sanctuary, with eyes closed, sitting on a soft pillow, and with some soothing music playing.
